What is this site all about?

This site serves 2 purposes. First is to publicly record, index and detail all the things wives have destroyed. By doing this we feel this will have a therapeutic effect for the husbands while still properly assigning blame, guilt and shame where it rightly belongs upon the wife who hath done the breaking.

Secondly it gives us husbands a point of coalescence whereby we can view each other’s pain, laugh at each other, but most importantly support each other knowing we’re all in the same boat. We all have wives who have no sense of personal electronic space or any basic safety measures when dealing with items costing more than free.

Why just “Wife Destruction” and not “Female Destruction?” My girlfriend breaks my stuff too!

I feel your pain and we don’t mean to leave you out. Feel free to post all your destruction that tornado of a girlfriend left behind. This domain was chosen quite purposefully. Having been in both a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship and now having been married for 7 years, I noticed a distinct change in behavior from girlfriend to wife. And an even more distinct change in behavior starting at the first pregnancy.

When the female body goes through pregnancy it’s no secret that they begin to misjudge their belly girth and start having balance problems. I thought the clumsiness would fade after child birth, but it seems to have a lasting impact. There is something in the female mind and body that just clicks off in the married relationship, especially post child birth. If you’re not married you won’t understand, but just take my word for it.

You sound bitter, are you?

Not at all. I love my wife tremendously and she is an amazingly talented, bright, loving, beautiful woman. I don’t deserve having her in my life. Likewise she doesn’t deserve the awesome simple responsibility of handling anything of worth anymore.
